From the hall where the DP National Council meeting is being held, the democratic leader, Sali Berisha, has warned Prime Minister Edi Rama not to dare to touch justice.
Berisha said that the opposition would not allow Edi Rama to violate even the small independence that the judiciary has.
"I am telling Rama that he will face serious consequences if he dares to affect even the small independence that the justice system has," Berisha said.
He said that Edi Rama is capable of doing anything to stay in power, while adding that now it is the opposition's turn.
" It's our time. The Democrats' time until he leaves. There is no other alternative. Look how it turned out. The man who started the government by appearing from screen to screen with bars in his hands, telling citizens with bars that they hadn't paid a single electricity or water bill.
The man who screamed from screen to screen to arrest Sali Berisha, Ilir Meta, etc., now caught red-handed, uses all his criminal power to protect himself.
Edi Rama is capable of a coup.
He has all the powers, but he is capable of destroying even this effort that justice is making.
If you heard what he said: we will not pass this over like other cases, but we will conduct an in-depth analysis, I say this as the leader of justice reform.
We will also tell him, dare.
We will absolutely do everything in our power to prevent you from taking that minimal power of justice.
"We cannot accept a bandit, a thief, a man who has done more harm to Albanians than any other invader ," Berisha said.
This stance of Berisha in relation to justice comes at a time when SPAK has requested authorization from the Parliament regarding Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku, who has been named as a defendant in the 'Llogara' tunnel case, while the Constitutional Court has suspended the decision of the GJKKO, which decided to suspend her from government duties.
But Berisha on the other hand is the politician who has accused the new judiciary the most, especially the acting head of SPAK, Altin Dumani, but also the former head of GJKKO, Irena Gjoka. Surprisingly, regarding the elected head of SPAK, Klodian Braho, he considered it simply as an election in accordance with the Constitution.
