"Ilir Meta big fish", Kadilli: Justice is hitting from both sides

Democrat Fatbardh Kadilli commented on the arrest of the president of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta.

Kadilli said that the big regret is that each side (for or against) recites its part. He said that it is unfortunate that the political party takes responsibility for the defendants.

"Ilir Meta is a "big fish". We do public trials, one in public and one in the courtroom. The purpose of justice is to detect violations. I don't think the audience gains anything from hearing each side recite their part. There are two sides, one side tends to portray Meta as Jesus Christ, while the other side presents him as the devil.

I do not agree that justice is hitting the opposition. It must be said that Helmut Kholn was convicted, Kraksi was convicted in Italy. It's Donald Trump in the making. The parties give statements. But the political parties in our country are becoming parties with the accused. Former ministers and former mayors of the SP are and have been in prison. We must applaud the justice for the blows from both sides", said Kadilli for "News 24".
