Despite the attacks being made daily by people and media close to Berisha, Jorida Tabaku has given the first signal today that she does not think like the majority.
According to her, there was definitely no election, but the government used everything to steal votes. However, she says that the time has come for the DP to learn its lessons. In an interview, she seems to have sent a signal to Berisha that the DP needs new breath.
" The opposition will do its utmost. Those mandates were won with a lot of struggle. But we must not forget that we must use new ways, a new spirit, also for the citizens, the Albanians, who are in their fourth mandate without political rotation. We cannot fail to offer this hope. The DP must definitely be the political alternative. The Democratic Party must fight every day, must work every day as if it were the last day of the campaign. We have no other choice but to fight every day. Demand every day for early elections, demand every day for a technical government, but this also accompanied by our alternative ," she said.
She also had an answer for Adriana Kalana and all those who attack her. Asked about the fact that there were voices from within the DP that have also contested her personal result, Tabaku said: " There is nothing wrong with demanding transparency. My only comment is that there should be transparency for all of Tirana. I have a lot of faith in the integrity of the Democratic Party's counters, in the structures, so I am very open to total transparency ."
She further stated that the May 11 elections were a missed opportunity for Albania, starting with the way they were organized.
" It was a missed opportunity for Albania to organize elections. Because it was the first time that they were organized with open negotiations. And elections are a key element in the first chapter group. Therefore, I would have thought that even for the sake of this rhetoric that the government has maintained about integration, the behavior would have been completely different from what happened. On the other hand, I consider integration as the only way to change Albania. Because I do not know a better instrument than how to have more control, monitoring in Albania. Even for electoral corruption and organized crime ," she said on 'A2CNN'.
