The leadership of the Democratic Party has sealed the holding of the elections for the President. After several hours of discussion, the members of the presidency have decided that on July 29, the new head of the DP will be elected, despite the objections that have come from Gazment Bardhi and some other deputies. The modalities for the elections were also defined in the meeting.
In this way, the Presidency has decided that on June 20 the National Council of DP will meet.
The Presidency also decided that the electoral process will be led by the Party's Electoral Commission; To the Electoral Commission, each candidate submits the application for candidacy by June 20, 2023;
The election campaign takes place from June 24 to July 27, 2023. Meanwhile, the Extraordinary Statutory Assembly will be held in September.
