Moscow has suddenly entered the game on the issue of Kosovo, after being silent during the turbulent developments that are taking place.
Precisely, at the moment when it was announced that the West has information that Moscow is preparing a '2004'-type riot plan in Kosovo, the Moscow government also intervened.
Sergey Lavrov's right wing in the Russian Foreign Ministry has accused Albin Kurti of a plan to reformat the borders of the Balkans.
Maria Zaharova, the spokesperson of the Russian Foreign Ministry, has stated that "Albin Kurti is endangering the borders of Greece, Serbia, Macedonia and Montenegro", referring to the statement of the Prime Minister of Kosovo on the anniversary of the Albanian League of Prizren.
The Moscow official accused the West of delaying the solution of the Kosovo issue and called for the return of the implementation of UN resolution 1244.
"Old threats are added to the procrastination and lack of will in Kosovo issues. Kurti, among other things, continued his grandiose rhetoric - when he recently declared that he does not forget the importance of uniting all Albanians, while the key goal of the party he leads is dictated by the "unfinished project of the League of Prizren", it is emphasized in the statement official statement of the Russian Foreign Ministry, which was brought to the attention of the Belgrade newspaper Večernje Novosti.
According to Zaharova: "This is an extremely alarming signal, which testifies to the true intentions of Pristina, its instinctive attitude towards the security and inviolability of the borders in the Balkans".
Then the Russian government states that: "Urgent and decisive steps are needed to return Pristina to a normal dialogue with Belgrade based on Resolution 1244 of the UN Security Council. Time is not in favor of peace and stability in this region".../ Pamphlet
