The former deputy of the Democratic Party, Astrit Patozi, said that the DP "has not seen white days" since, according to him, it disrupted the race for the party leader between Lulzim Basha and the late former deputy, Sokol Olldashi, which ended with Basha's victory and disputes in the ranks of the Democrats.
In an interview for the show "Frontline" on "News24", he said that Berisha has been the only supporter of Lulzim Basha since his first day and until the moment when he expelled him from the party.
He continued by saying that the fact that Basha is trying to lead like Berisha shows that their symbiosis was not in vain.
" Today, Basha is saying some theses that made our mouths drop and he did nothing when he had the opportunity. We have taken the open lists to the GJK and today as we speak the list is open. Today there is an unequal battle.
PD has not seen a single white day since it broke the race between Basha and Olldash because there has been no clean process in the interior. Albanians see that every time you have disputes about an unfair competition inside the house, don't expect perfection with the opponent.
Berisha has been Basha's only supporter since the first day he was elected, until the day they pulled out their knives and started fighting. Berisha was Basha's instigator and tutor until the end. Basha is the only one who stays at home during the campaign and after the elections says he will become president. The fact that Basha is doing the same thing as Berisha. That symbiosis between them was not in vain, as they led the same way and did the same actions ", declared Patozi.
