The General Secretary of the DP, Gazment Bardhi, has reacted to the commotion caused by the construction of the 58-story tower behind the flower garden of the Opera and Ballet theater.
According to Bardhi, the government has joined the traffickers, and they are cleaning the money of drugs and crime.
He emphasizes that in Albania 1.6 billion euros are cleared in the construction sector and this cannot happen without the knowledge of the 2 people who give the main construction permits, Edi Rama and Erion Veliaj.

There is an account of specialized institutions that in a period of 2 years, 1.6 billion euros are cleared in the construction sector in Albania.
Can this happen without the knowledge of the 2 people who give the main building permits, Edi Rama and Erion Veliaj? The answer is: No, never! Anyone who orients the debate, ignoring this fact, serves dirty money.
We have maintained this position as a parliamentary group, even in July, when the initiative of colleague Jorida Tabaku to improve the law against money laundering was discussed. There is no doubt that those who are partners in laundering the money of crime and corruption cannot accept the action of the law against them. Therefore, we are today the place where the government, the municipality, the corrupt and the drug traffickers are partners among themselves with construction permits and money laundering.
