According to her, there is no legal or public interest reason to allow the destruction of these areas.
"It is in the dignity of the institution of the President to be a party to the Constitution and not to the government, which cannot argue a legal reason or public interest why the protected areas should be destroyed. Since the first days when the initiative of 12 deputies was just filed "For Protected Areas", we denounced that it would be an environmental massacre, to the detriment of the public interest and destructive for these areas.

She charged that this is a law that will eliminate protected areas, leaving them as a concept only on paper.

Our battle against this destructive law will continue even if the president does not fulfill his duty, in the Constitutional Court.
