Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, after the meeting of the opposition parliamentary group, declared that he will take the agreement reached with Italy for the transfer of immigrants from Africa to the area of Shengjin in Lezhë to the Constitutional Court.
Berisha said that Rama's signature on the agreement is anti-constitutional, as he claims that it violates the rights and freedom of the individual. He added that this decision was reached in agreement with the rest of the group.
" It was decided that this battle without return will continue with new horizons. It was discussed and moving towards…except for the sequel. Regarding the immigrants' agreement, the text will be prepared for the Constitutional Court, as we think that Edi Rama's signature is unconstitutional. We believe that the agreement violates the rights and freedoms of the individual. There are arguments and it's normal. On the whole they agree. It was the will of the group. I also voted for this variant because this variant is legitimate ", said Berisha.
