The closed-door meeting and questioning of 3 witnesses at the TIMS Commission of Inquiry has been extended until 03:30 this morning, June 5.
The Minister of the Interior, Taulant Balla, the director of the State Police, Muhamet Rrumbullaku and the former director of IT in the Police, Ervin Muça, returned for the second time to testify, after all the deputies were provided with a temporary security certificate.
The meeting with closed doors caused a fierce debate between the opposition and the majority, while even at the end of taking the testimonies, the chairman Ervin Salianji in a video shared on Facebook attacked the socialists again, saying that they limited the meeting with an arbitrary vote.
"After hours of debate and questioning of 3 witnesses, the Minister of the Interior, the director of the State Police and Ervin Muça, after hours and hours, at 3:26 in the morning, we finished the questioning session together with our colleagues. You will be aware of many issues that have been discussed in this commission, which was limited by the arbitrary vote of the SP to hold a closed meeting", says Salianji.
After receiving the testimonies, Salianji says that they managed to discover surprising information about the parliamentary investigation and will soon make it public.
"We have managed to discover surprising data regarding the parliamentary investigation, which we will soon make public for everyone. Despite the SP's efforts to block this investigation, we are going towards the end to fully illuminate this dark situation that has happened with the TIMS system data", says Salianji.
