Ilir Meta and Monika Kryemadhi seem to have started the maneuvers to save the property. SPAK put them in the scanner and today Kryemadhi admitted that he is under financial investigation. But, while the prosecutors are investigating in detail every penny, Kryemadhi tried to distance himself from the millions stolen by Ilir Meta.
Invited to "Real Story", she stated that she has the property in her name and it has nothing to do with the income from Meta's functions. So in a nutshell, Kryemadhi is sending a message to SPAK that she has sweated her wealth of millions of euros and has not used the money that her husband stole.
" I have not signed. My family has not received anything from the state budget. I have no benefit from my husband. I have zero from my husband. Kryemadhi who in 1992 lived with her family's money and her work. Kryemadhi did not come to Tirana when he married Meta and when he became prime minister, Kryemadhi grew up in the middle of Tirana. I grew up 20 meters from the National Theatre. I lived in an intellectual community. Our life did not begin in Tirana when SPAK was built ," she said.

Later in the interview, Kryemadhi admitted that he was alerted by SPAK. She threatened to go all the way to Strasbourg for the phone that was confiscated. She admitted that she is under financial investigation, as she retracted her statement that she does not care about SPAK.
" You know that half of the deputies are in SPAK for property investigation like my job. I am under financial investigation.
