A year ago, after SPAK had completed its preliminary investigations and had questioned Ilir Meta, Monika and Fatime Kryemadhi, the defendant Ilir Meta declared them traitors and party spies, who, according to him, bowed to the bargains of BKH and SPAK.
As the chief traitor and chief spy, Ilir Meta labeled his wife, Monika; with whom, after severing contact and expelling her from the party, he sought divorce in court, left home and lived at the luxury hotel of the famous Lul Morina, until October 21, 2024, when he was arrested.

After Ilir Meta's arrest and before the announcement of the lists of candidates for MPs, Monika Kryemadhi hid at her villa in Lalz, did not appear publicly and remained completely silent, while Ilir Meta, during the court hearing for the security measure "Arrest in prison", looked at Monika with disgust.
But after the announcement of the lists for MPs, Monika came alive, launching the campaign for Ilir Meta; on March 24, 2025, she even celebrated his birthday with a cake, wishing him well on being elected MP.
Several times, through statements on Facebook and in the media, Monika, who betrayed Ilir at BKH and SPAK, has said that she will vote for her ex-husband and has called for him to become an MP.
A few days ago, she posted a message on Facebook, with this text: - "I wish you a good day. I will knock on every door, I will open it with my heart and I will ask for the vote for the change that Albanians want and for Ilir Meta. Vote No. 1 and candidate Ilir Metaj".
On Saturday, his son Besar Metaj published a poster of the "PD-Great Albania" coalition with a photo of Ilir Meta, while Monika greeted him, saying: "Today you have shown once again that you have grown up. Bravo Besar Metaj, I am proud of you. Vote for Ilir Metaj."
So, Monika, with the testimonies of herself, her mother, and her associates, put the husband who made her super rich in prison, while now she is campaigning for him to be elected as an MP and released from prison./ Pamphlet
