The delegate for the diaspora vote in the Democratic Party, Jozefina Topalli, called on Albanians to vote, while also thanking those who exercised their duty from abroad.
She emphasized that the vote is their power and that they have the opportunity today to make a major historical turn.
"Today is a beautiful day, but it becomes even more beautiful when Albanians come out and vote with dignity and heart. There are still a few hours left and the key word is vote, vote, vote. Do not underestimate your voice, you have a greater power than you think. The doors of the polls are the only ones that open once every four years, you have the opportunity and become promoters of a great historical turning point.
"Vote because voting is not only a right, but also a responsibility. I want to thank the thousands of Albanians living abroad who not only registered and voted, but who came in thousands not only to bring a vote but to bring a message not only of patriotism," said Topalli.
