
The head of the Central Election Commission, Ilirjan Celibashi, has revoked the accreditation of party observers. According to this decision, no party observers are allowed in the Voting Center in Vora, except for the media and international observers.
This act by Celibashi comes after tensions and clashes in the Vora VC.
During the morning, the Secretary General of the Democratic Party, Flamur Noka, was involved in a heated debate with citizens of the area, who were holding provisional accreditation cards, posing as observers.
The debate degraded into serious insults between them.

In support of articles 6, 7, 19, points 1, letter “n”, and 2, of law no. 10019, dated 29.12.2008, “Electoral Code of the Republic of Albania”, as amended, and Decision no. 23 dated 1.2.2023, “On the procedures and criteria for the accreditation of observers of electoral entities in the commissions of electoral administration zones, the commissions of voting centers and vote counting sites, in elections”,
Decide:
Revocation of the accreditation of all observers, for CEAZ No. 27, Municipality of Vora, Tirana District, issued to the CEAZ, VCCs and BCCs, except for international observers and the media.
This decision enters into force immediately and is published on the official website of the Central Election Commission.
This decision may be appealed to the Appeals and Sanctions Commission within 3 (three) days of its announcement.
