Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha has spoken about a recent development related to the change in the US's stance on his "non grata" sanctioning by the US.
Berisha considers the State Department's response that the DP leader may travel to the US as world news. The DP leader told "Opinion" that with the new State Department stance, it showed that the decision against him was political and lobbied by Prime Minister Rama.

Sali Berisha: The big news that is echoing around the world and all the major news agencies is that it starts from the bottom, that the State Department and the administration of President Trump cannot accept the political decisions of the Biden administration, even more so of Antony Blinken, a person who is today non grata in the United States of America. The truth of this news is the trashing of an anti-democratic stance against the conservative political force of Albania, of Edi Rama, George Soros and Antony Blinken. DASH brands this stance as incompatible with the new administration.
Blendi Fevziu: Have you addressed the State Department? Because this is a post by a journalist.
Sali Berisha: When a White House correspondent asks such a question, it has a very great significance.
