Former democratic deputy Myslym Murrizi, commenting on the conclusions of the head of SPAK Albert Dumani before the deputies of the Parliamentary Committee on Laws, regarding the last operation against organized crime, said that he technically made four mistakes.
According to Mr. Murrizi, Mr. Dumani was wrong when he said that the judges should decide what the prosecutors are looking for. "We are not a republic of prosecutors," he said.
Another mistake, according to him, was that the head of SPAK asked for an extension of his mandate, which shows the fear of Mr. Dumani, whose mandate ends at the end of the year.
Further, Mr. Murrizi evaluated Mr. Dumani's accusations against the police chiefs, that they are incriminated. He cannot speak as an analyst, Mr. Murrizi said. The police cannot get all dirty, said the former PD deputy, while also presenting his reservations. "If their names came out in the investigation, Duman can arrest them," he said.
Regarding the last SPAK operation, Mr. Murrizi said that Dumani should not sell it as the merit of the prosecutors of the communist era. "The latest operation has been served on a plate by the foreign services," he said.
