The democratic deputy, Saimir Korreshi, opposed the initiative of the socialists to establish a parliamentary commission that will investigate corruption in Albania, as long as there are institutions set up specifically for this phenomenon.
In an interview for "Ora News", Korreshi stated that this initiative raises doubts, since according to him, you cannot say after 12 years of governance that you now discovered that there was corruption in the government.
"From this resolution or the establishment of such a commission to be more transparent. In this country, it is no longer surprising. We have seen that the Constitution has been torn and if it manages to capture all the institutions, as it seems that the prosecution has gotten out of control and remembered after 12 years that there was corruption in a country that until yesterday did not accept it.
Today, not only is there corruption, but every cell of the state is corrupt. It's been so long that we still denounce and it's been so long that dozens of directors, ministers and former ministers are being arrested, but I think that the SPKA should go as far as the Municipality of Tirana and the Prime Minister, as the persons responsible for the mismanagement of money of the Albanians, or perhaps stolen by them, since it is justice that decides in the end", he said.
