The chairman of the Democratic Party has accused that a group of people are the ones who manage the wealth and economic power of the country.
According to the chief democrat, it is a minority of people who demand that Albania be under the control of a political group.
Basha said that the country is in an autocracy, where the people who rule have taken power and keep it for themselves and a handful of their clients.
"It is the battle of a minority that will maintain this situation, that loves Albania like this, in the political control of a political group, with a handful of people who manage the wealth and economic power. And with the recycling of a handful of faces that have occupied the Albanian media for decades.
The intention is clear: the assets of this country, the money of the Albanians, the fate of this country are controlled by an absolute minority. This is autocracy, the rule of people who have taken power and keep it for themselves and a handful of their clients", said Basha.
He made the statements during the meeting he held today at the Electoral Assembly of branch 8 and 2 in Tirana.
