The head of the DP Parliamentary Group, Gazment Bardhi, speaking about the statements made last night by the former Deputy Prime Minister, Arben Ahmetaj, declared that Rama and Veliaj should have been brought to justice for a long time.
Through a reaction on the "Facebook" social network, Bardhi said that Ahmetaj finally showed who the real owners of the incinerators are.
After the testimony of the former Deputy Prime Minister, Bardhi emphasized that Rama and Veliaj should resign immediately. He further added that the delay or lack of initiation of investigations by SPAK against the prime minister and the mayor will cast doubt on its credibility.
" That Edi Rama and Erjon Veliaj are the heads of the Tirana incinerator affair and the two most corrupt officials of the Albanian state, none of us expected to learn from Arben Ahmetaj, Edi Rama's former closest collaborator for 20 years!
Edi Rama and Erion Veliaj should have been in front of justice in time to account for the theft of the Albanians. But it is not too late for this to happen! After the delayed testimony of Arben Ahmetaj, Edi Rama and Erion Veliaj must resign and make way for justice for an unaffected and impartial investigation!
The facts and data of their involvement in the corrupt affair of the incinerators and some affairs, for which Arben Ahmetaj used the code of the mafia to give messages, must be brought to light by justice through a complete and quick investigation! SPAK had and has so much evidence at its disposal that it should have already reached a conclusion for bringing Edi Rama and Erion Veliaj to criminal responsibility!
The silence and any other delay, even through the failure to initiate investigations in the main, raises serious doubts about the credibility of SPAK and undermines the high expectations of citizens to end impunity at the highest levels of power.
On the other hand, the fact that Arben Ahmetaj has started confessing some truths out of trouble does not make him any less guilty than the first two. He must face justice for his involvement and benefits from the incinerator affair, as part of the criminal organization directed by Edi Rama, where he, for the first 2 incinerators, and Erion Veliaj, for the Tirana incinerator, had a key role.
For all other accusations, which are also documented, SPAK should offer Arben Ahmetaj the opportunity to be an associate of justice and to clarify together the affairs of the Government of Edi Rama, where Ahmetaj has served for almost 10 years. as one of Edi Rama's closest and most trusted collaborators!
If SPAK does not offer him this opportunity, Arben Ahmetaj, who until yesterday was lecturing us about the independence of the new judiciary, must publicly declare himself as an associate of justice and show how, with Edi Rama at the head, they betrayed the Albanians through the affairs of serious corruption and ties to organized crime! ", said Bardhi.
