The political class

It remains to be seen if this autumn SPAK will knock on the doors of the untouchables who enjoy the millions they have made from corruption...

Just like the popular proverb that "the heat goes away with August", so is the case with the political heat. The holidays for ministers and MPs are slowly coming to an end and in the first week of September, the political autumn will begin, which is expected to be very busy this time.

August was expected to be hot, but it didn't happen like that. SPAK did not go further than the former deputy minister of Health and now the final test for Altin Duman will be in the fall. In a few months he will be one year in charge of SPAK and the most sensational blow was the announcement of the search for Arben Ahmetaj, while names like Berisha or Meta are still free. Although there are several cases being investigated for them, they are not really getting a thorn in their side. For this reason, this autumn seems to be a challenge for SPAK.

The other sensational development is obviously the changes in the government. Prime Minister Rama warned in July that the government will be resized in September. This means that there will not only be dismissals, but there will be changes in the designations and form of the ministries. There will be ministries that will be separated and some that will join. Likewise, it is expected that the deputy ministers and General Secretaries will take on a greater role. According to the information, a very large part of the current ministers will leave, especially those who are endangered by justice.

Another development is the mandate of Olta Xhaçka. SP managed to save this summer by postponing the debate until autumn. It is expected that in September the opposition will reopen the case. PS will undoubtedly drag it out, but in the end there is no stopping it. The Constituent Assembly will be the one to decide whether Xhaçka will be a deputy or not, since her husband has become a strategic investor.

Another development is the elections in Kukës. On September 24, the elections are held in Kukës and it seems that it will be a test for the opposition and SP. Safet Gjici was caught in a sexual scandal and it remains to be seen if the Kuksians will take revenge on the SP. Meanwhile, the opposition is divided and it will be seen how it will act.

This political autumn seems to bring Lulzim Basha back to the scene. He took over the head of the Democratic Party and developments are expected in September. Basha will convene the National Assembly, where dismissals and changes in DP structures are expected. It remains to be seen how Bardhi's group will act.

So it seems that this fall will be quite busy this year. / Pamphlet
