The National Council meeting begins, Berisha: The DP is invincible!

The Democratic Party National Council meeting is underway, where the reformation of the leadership structure of the blue headquarters is expected to be formalized. During the meeting, the Secretary General, vice-chairmen, heads of secretariats and other leadership structures of the party will be voted on.

The meeting opened with a speech by the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, who stated that the Democratic Party is an "undefeated party." He then addressed the citizens' protest, today the 46th day of the civic rally, where protesters are demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama and the removal of the entire political class.

However, Berisha did not comment on the fact that among the protesters' demands is his removal from politics, emphasizing that the Democratic Party aims for political rotation and the return of free voting.

In his speech, the leader of the DP also announced that the Presidency has approved the proposals for the members of the Diaspora Council, who will be part of the National Council.

"The DP Presidency approved the following proposals for the Diaspora Council, the members of the Diaspora who will be on the National Council. These proposals have come from the branches and have been completed here," said Berisha.

He also expressed his conviction that the Democratic Party will continue its political mission.

"The DP leadership approved the following proposals for the Diaspora Council, the Diaspora members who will be on the National Council. These proposals have come from the branches and have been completed here.

The DP continues with all its potential the mission of restoring the free vote of Albanians and of course the return to power, the rotation of power. This hot summer in temperatures, is even hotter in the political sphere. So let us express our greatest respect to those tens of thousands of citizens who fight every night with the dictatorship, with the narco-dictatorship, among the wildest and ugliest in Europe and in the world.

"Everything that is taking place today in the streets and squares of Tirana is a battle for the most just cause that one can have. A battle with one of its three main enemies, with tyranny. The DP comes at these moments as an invincible party, as a party that against this authoritarian dictatorship held over 400 protests in three years, carried out hundreds of acts-actions against it. It comes at this moment after it managed to successfully denounce the electoral farce worldwide ," said Berisha.
