The TIMS Commission starts debates, Salianji clashes with Gogu: We want

The meeting of the Investigative Commissions for TIMS started with debates, where the MP Ervin Salianji requested that the meeting be held with open doors, but his request was rejected by the representatives of the majority.

The questioning to hear the testimonies of the Minister of Tourism Taulant Balla, the General Director of the State Police, Muhamet Rrumbullaku and the former director of IT in the State Police, Ervin Muça will take place behind closed doors.

"Voting against the meeting with open doors is part of the implementation of the law on classified information. We have to continue with the meeting with the interior minister behind closed doors ", said the socialist MP Toni Gogu.

Meanwhile, Salianji has ironized the rejection of the majority, stressing that now it remains only for the religious communities to come to keep the members of the commission in place.

"It is painful that you boycotted the commission several hundred times. I would request the religious communities to keep our minds in the country", says Salianji.

The debate between them:

Salianji: It is vital, necessary for democracy to have open meetings, but in order not to block the commission's work, we voted for the meeting to take place behind closed doors, but as I quote the interim decision, without the need to equipped with MP security certificates. We must return the commission's work to legality. We are in new conditions and the previous decision-making was not possible because the Minister of the Interior claimed to have classified information, let's vote and return to a new interim decision, the meeting with the first witness Taulant Balla Minister of the Interior , it is not in my view that we are familiar with any classified document, I propose that the meeting be open (it is put to a vote).

Toni Gogu: Balla's testimony should take place behind closed doors. We have made a request to the Regulation Council on a number of issues. Start immediately from the hearing of the Minister of the Interior, thus officially starting the investigation and without further ado that the people equate it with the bullshit, with the bullshit of this system. Continue the meeting we left halfway behind closed doors.

Salianji: We have a new intermediate decision-making. Meetings must be open to full transparency. Full confrontation and accountability. We have called them to account. The issue worries citizens, partners. You have made requests to the Assembly, I hope they are not tricks to hinder the process, it is painful that a political party wants to boycott the commission as you did last time. So my requests as chairman of the commission would gladly have been addressed to the religious communities to keep everyone's mind in place and pray to God that you are in this meeting calmer and you are on the side of the law of morality and not the opposite .
