The lawyer Kreshnik Spahiu has spoken about the Union of the two democratic groups, that of Reestablishment led by Sali Berisha and the support group of Gazment Bardhi.

Spahiu said that 37 deputies out of the 43 who were present at the meeting 2 years ago voted to expel Sali Berisha from the Democratic Party.

He said that the merger of the parliamentary group would be very good news, but the presence of Berisha negates this.

" I wanted to clarify a very important legal moment that is related today to the political, institutional and legal morality of these 37 deputies who made two important legal decisions in September 2021 and January 20, 2022.

The first decision is the exclusion of Sali Berisha from the Parliamentary Group. The second decision was the expulsion of Berisha as a member of the Democratic Party. Sali Berisha is legally one of these deputies excluded from that party. Today, the unification of the parliamentary group is a very important news, but the presence of the excluded man cancels everything ", said the lawyer Spahiu in "Euronews Albania".
