"The opposition does not have the power to arrest", Balliu: Suel

The head of the Democratic Party's organization, Klevis Balliu, said that regardless of what the competent bodies do, it is the opposition's duty to denounce electoral crimes and it will continue to do so.

According to Balliu, it is the duty of the opposition and society to dismantle the system set up to steal elections in Albania. He emphasizes that the Bulgarian train with its voice and image in the Elbasan region proves a system set up to steal elections.

"The electoral farce has been proven only by taking the evidence of recent days for public opinion in Albania and internationally. The Bulgarian train captured on video, with sound and image in the Elbasan Region proves a system set up to steal the elections, which turns this process into a farce. It is the duty of the opposition and ours as a society to dismantle the system set up to steal the elections ," Balliu told "News 24".

Interview:

You, as the opposition, declared that the vote would be protected. What about now that the elections are over?

Klevis Balliu: The opposition has no power to arrest any person or electoral criminal. That remains with the police, courts and prosecution. The opposition has the duty to denounce and we have done that. And this battle that we are waging is part of the mission to protect the vote, to keep the word that we gave to the Albanians.

How did you see SPAK in this initiative?

Klevis Balliu: If SPAK were not SKAP, the Bulgarian train should not have been intercepted by the opposition, because we do not have an investigation bureau, it is not trained by the FBI, it does not receive 10 thousand euros a month to investigate electoral crimes. SPAK created special groups for elections, why did they not intercept the Bulgarian train or the illegal electoral offices.

Did you see these before the elections?

Klevis Balliu: There are 19 statements from the DP. Whatever the opposition would do, it could not change the fact that in Durrës the Troplini rule, in Elbasan the Çelas rule, it is not a matter of political analysis, because no electoral crime has been detected.

So, according to you, the outcome of the elections is decided before they even start?

Klevis Balliu: Unquestionably, we set out to win the elections, but on the other hand we said that everything will be attempted here, manipulation and vote theft. We have declared that Sara Mila is Suel Çela's candidate and here it was proven, since she is the most voted candidate in Albania, a person that no one knows. Or the case of Arkend Balla supported by the Troplins, who received 10 times more votes than four years ago. I don't know what salary you need to have to have 2.6 million euros in your bank account as you declare.
