Toni Gogu, Minister for Relations with Parliament, in a statement to the media, accused the opposition of signs of violence in the Parliament hall.
Gogu said that the majority was determined to stay in the Assembly until the next day, but the opposition used force, physical violence and even threatened the Prime Minister.
"In the Assembly, the opposition showed signs of violence. They had not come with the force of thought, they did not seek debate. It was an unprecedented event, when the opposition did not allow the Prime Minister to present her program," said Gogu.
He said the opposition showed signs of violence, while calling on it to distance itself from radicalism.
Gogu said that the majority will not tolerate the Assembly hall turning into an arena of fights, and even warned that its deputies will not be present at such scenes at all.
"The Assembly belongs to the opposition, we have come because we have an obligation to the Albanians who voted for us. The parliamentary debate is at the center of the Assembly and we will ensure it."
We will ensure that the opposition has all its space. If you say that the opposition flouts the Constitution and shows signs of verbal and even physical violence...
"We were there, we were ready to stay until the next day, if our colleagues come with muscle power and threaten the prime minister and the cabinet, we will not even be present. See you later," he said.
