"Pamphlet" has entered a new phase. Until yesterday, we were seriously denouncing, counting the affairs and explaining them one by one. But today, the government is no longer a government, it is a circus troupe with puppet ministers, recruited puppeteers and an imaginary minister called 'Diella'.
Institutions have become empty facades, captive media are propaganda offices, and politics has become a business.
In this reality, seriousness no longer has any effect. What works is mockery.
History has proven that even the strongest dictatorships have collapsed due to jokes.
In Albania in the late 1980s, when fear still prevailed, political jokes became the only weapon of courage. With them, people stripped power of its solemnity and turned it into a laughing stock.
In the Soviet Union, anecdotes about Brezhnev and the bureaucracy were more widespread than party propaganda, and when people laughed at the party, it had practically lost authority.
In East Germany and Romania, before the fall of the Wall and the overthrow of Ceausescu, jokes were proof that power was rotten and uncaring. And when people started laughing at leaders, those leaders were finished.
This is the lesson we bring today: only with cynicism, only with black humor, only with a scathing pamphlet can you destroy the myth of absolute power. Because authoritarianism can withstand accusations, it can withstand protests, it can even buy silence. But it cannot withstand laughter. Laughter makes it funny, jokes make it small, the pamphlet transforms it from an “invincible leader” into a miserable caricature.
Therefore, from today, the Pamphlet will tell the truth with humor and cynicism. We will do what dictatorships never want: we will turn them into a joke. Because even the most arrogant power falls to its knees not in the face of force, but in the face of ridicule.
And in this battle, we will not be alone. We invite all humorists, satirists, pamphleteers, all those who know how to poke fun at power, to find a window at 'Pamphlet'. Because in this republic of affairs and digital puppets, our strongest weapon is cynicism. And we will use this weapon until the end./ Pamphlet
