Ilir Meta seems to have broken Sali Berisha's back. The May 14 elections were a defeat for the opposition, but the only one who benefited was Ilir Meta. ¾ of the councilors in the Municipal Councils were taken by the Freedom Party, making Berisha a minority everywhere. The introduction of PL under the logo of the Together We Win coalition led the democrats to vote for his party. 3 days after the elections, Meta went to Berisha's office, and since that day the contacts have been cut off.
Ilir Meta himself has not appeared in any television studio. The only exit was on May 30, where Meta gathered his advisers and clearly showed his distance from Berisha. Today Meta became "alive" on social networks, but commented on Rama's proposal for the Association in Kosovo and not the elections.
