Although it was expected that Vora and Unit No. 10 in Tirana would be the first areas where we would learn the election results, this will not happen.

The CEC has ordered the technical operator not to print the results of the electronic voting devices for both zones.

Normally, electronic voting was conducted in Vora. Which means that after the voting was over, the USBs were expected to be collected and Vora would be the first to give the election results. But members of the CEAZ have stated to the media that they have been ordered not to print the voting results.

Meanwhile, CEC head Celibashi stated during a media conference that the blocking of the results in Vora was done by political consensus and will be announced tomorrow morning.

" In conditions where it is easy to speculate about the quick result that it produces and the vast majority of votes for the VC will be counted after midnight, it could have an impact on this process. To guarantee the integrity of the vast majority of voting, we have sacrificed the immediate transmission of the results. For the extent of the result in unit 10 and the Municipality of Vora, the result is expected to be available at 8:00 or 09:00 on Monday morning ," he said.

According to information, it was the DP that made a request not to release the results, which was supported by the SP and Celibashi complied.

However, despite his stance, the results of the first ballot boxes have come out. The first two ballot boxes counted in Vora have revealed the Socialist Party as the winner. It received 222 votes in this ballot box, while the DP only 73.
