The voting results are out in the first box in Vora, where voting was electronic.
According to official data, 124 votes were registered in this box for the Socialist Party and 42 for the Democratic Party, which translates into a dominant ratio of 70% to 30% in favor of the SP.
The SP candidate, Blendi Gonxhja, is the largest vote-getter in this area, signaling a strong performance of the Socialists in the Tirana district. On the other hand, Ilir Alimehmeti, the representative of the DP, holds the main weight of the opposition, however, remains at a significant distance.
This first result is not final, but it is an early indication of the trend that can be followed in the other boxes. Vora, as a strategically important peripheral area in the Tirana region, is expected to be a barometer for the performance of the two main political forces.
