Analyst Ergys Mërtiri commented on Sali Berisha's statements about Ervin Salianji, following the speech that the latter started with the structures of the Democratic Party.
Mertiri said that Berisha's claim that the former MP is serving Prime Minister Edi Rama is absurd.
" The Socialist Party and Edi Rama are served by those who do not want the Democratic Party to be reformed. Rama and Berisha have been in power for 1,000 years. Although this is the government most covered in scandals and oppression, it is stronger than ever because it has Sali Berisha facing it ," said Mërtiri.
The analyst insists that the sole culprit for the weakening of the Democratic Party and the unstrategic movements of this political force is Sali Berisha.
" It is shameful that this party hides behind its finger and blames everyone except Berisha. If there is a culprit here, it is Berisha, because Sali Berisha is the one who makes the bargains with Edi Rama. It makes no sense for this party to continue 'Mehmeti is making it up in his head that Enver and Nexhmija don't know these things'. Berisha is the one who has a finger on the Ombudsman and he said this himself, he said that we did this because we wanted to take away Endri Shabani's votes for the Municipality of Tirana" , - said Mërtiri on Report TV.
