DP and SP close campaign, election silence tomorrow
The Socialist and Democratic Parties have closed their electoral campaigns. The Socialists gathered at the Olympic Park in Tirana, while the Democrats gathered at the New Boulevard.
The SP chose to give the floor to all the candidates from the capital, while the DP had a different strategy. Berisha gave voice to several foreign representatives and the campaign strategist, Chris LaCivita.
Then the two leaders, Edi Rama and Sali Berisha, took the floor. Rama focused on EU integration, while not sparing the new parties. He then focused on the "Kuçi Memorandum", where he insisted that the SP will receive over 78 mandates.

In Lezha we have three mandates out of seven. In order to lose one, Lezha must wake up thinking that the recovery after the earthquake is the merit of the 'chameleon' Gjekmarkaj. In Durrës we have eight, and we can only lose one if people believe that Oerd Gjinkalla is a success story. The sixth brick of the swamp is falling.

While Sali Berisha began his speech at the closing rally of the opposition's electoral campaign by greeting the newly elected Chancellor of Germany, Merz. Further, he said that Albania will significantly increase cooperation with the German government and will export Albanian products there and not crime like today, as he said. He also promised cooperation with Trump.
" I will convey my warmest greetings to the German Bundestag member Peter Bayer, who comes here today to support the victory of the Albanian opposition and the Democratic Party. I greet Chancellor Merz, whom I had the opportunity to greet in Valencia. The election of Chancellor Merz to lead Germany and Europe is considered a great fortune."
The DP will establish closer cooperation with the German government. We will export Albanian products to Germany, not crime as it is today.
"Unlimited gratitude for the decision you made to return the DP and Sali Berisha to power. On the first day, at the first press conference, you humiliated Edi Rama by hitting the table with your fists. I guarantee that tomorrow morning, he will hit the table with his head. We are grateful for the decision you made to help us. The DP will establish closer relations with the Trump administration in all areas ," Berisha said.
The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, at the end of the campaign in Tirana gave a message to the youth. He said on May 11, the vote will be for their dignity. The leader of the DP has ironized Rama by saying that for the fourth mandate he offered the youth 2 kg of pumpkin seeds.
Berisha also said that Rama offers young people an apartment for 108 years of work, while with the DP in power, every couple will have a roof.
" On May 11, the vote is also for your dignity, you are dignified young people. You heard it with your own ears when an unbalanced person told you that for the fourth term he would provide you with 2 kg of pumpkin seeds, a great insult to Albanian youth."
The next government will announce the youth pact, the start-up Albania pact. Every young person will graduate after graduation. One thing, don't forget, our battle is to return the nation to its youth.
