Socialist Party MP Erion Braçe broke down in tears during an interview.
The reason was the help given by his family members for the campaign. He mentioned his father, who he said he didn't know went out and met people to help him in the campaign. He also mentioned to "Shqipëria Live" his father-in-law, who would go all the way to Shëngjergj for him.
Excerpt from the interview:
-How tired are your family members during this campaign with you?
Braçe: They must have been more worried than tired actually. It made a big impression on me and I would like to be like it until the end. I moved to Tirana and they told me 'your father has met a lot of people'. It was a big surprise.
-Did your father campaign for you?
Braçe: Not only him, but also from the other side. The rest of my family, my father-in-law, my mother-in-law, who I am very surprised by.
-Didn't you know that your father was going out...?
Braçe: No, he's 82 years old. I've seen him at the lake walking as much as I do, but I didn't expect him to go out and meet people. Or my father-in-law, who is the same age as my father and used to go all the way to Shëngjergj for me. He made a big impression on me. I want these votes. There are thousands of others who worked on this campaign.
