Democratic Party MP, Luan Baçi, has requested that a state of natural disaster be declared due to the extensive damage caused by floods in the Fier region.
After closely monitoring the damage situation in the village of Mbrostar in Fier, the DP MP published a video showing the consequences of the floods.
"The Seman River's overflow has shaken all the lands at this moment as it has flooded lands, stables, and livestock, while the local government shows no interest. The Prime Minister is hesitant to declare a state of natural disaster, as he will use citizens' money for tenders and concessions while residents are worried," said Baçi, among other things.
Baçi has also denounced the selective verifications that, according to him, were carried out in homes in flooded areas.
We recall that the Fier region was among the most affected by the floods, as some of its villages were flooded by the waters of the Vjosa River, after overflowing its banks.
