Through a message on its official social media profile, the embassy calls on all American citizens to exercise caution in areas at risk of flooding, which is worsening.
"Some areas across the country are under evacuation orders. Flooding can occur without warning, while heavy rains may cause road closures due to flash floods or landslides ," the US embassy message continues.
