The chairman of the SP group, Bledi Çuçi, declared that the majority does not give up the agreement with Italy, even though the Constitutional Court suspended it.
" It is their right, we will implement every decision of the Constitutional Court. We will not retreat, we will stand to show that we are a European country ", said Çuçi.
Çuçi said that the majority does not take any steps to allow the fulfillment of the three conditions of the opposition. According to him, the opposition is creating chaos in the Assembly to protect Berisha.
" The request must be brought according to the determinations of the Constitutional Court. We will not obstruct any parliamentary commission of inquiry. Therefore, we have prepared a set of changes. It is not a matter of stepping back, but of implementing the law.
For investigative commissions, we have said that the facility should be based on the facility of the Constitutional Court. They started the fire because the pensioner at the head of the DP has taken everyone hostage. They want to burn the parliament to protect Berisha. Without question, our position is clear. We have not even discussed the mandate of our colleagues when SPAK requested it ", added Çuçi.
The Constitutional Court yesterday suspended the agreement with Italy for immigrants.
The judges have decided to consider the appeal of the 30 deputies of the Democratic Party for review in a plenary session, which automatically results in the suspension of all procedures for the approval of this agreement.
The agreement with Italy will be reviewed on January 18 by the Constitutional Court. Meanwhile, the court has returned the complaint that Lulzim Basha had filed on this matter for completion of documents.
After this decision, the agreement with Italy was removed from the agenda in the plenary session.
Parliament must wait until the court announces the final decision on the migrant deal.
