Politics closes the holidays, the Assembly resumes work on Monday

The political holidays are over. The fifth parliamentary session will open with the plenary session on September 4.

The order was given by Speaker Lindita Nikolla, who announced that the first parliamentary session will start at 10:00.

Dear colleagues, we inform you that the plenary session of the opening of the 5th session of the 10th Legislature of the Parliament of Albania will take place on Monday, September 4, at 10:00 a.m. (Order no. 45, dated 30.08.2023, of the Speaker of the Assembly, Mrs. Lindita Nikolla) ", the announcement states.

We remind you that the last parliamentary session was closed amid many controversies, as well as with the approval of some disputed laws such as the "contract" for medical students and the medical legalization of cannabis.
