The President of the Republic, Bajram Begaj, has decreed the new ambassadors in several EU, NATO and UN countries and the release of some others from their current duties.
The President of the Republic in implementation of his constitutional and legal powers, based on Article 92, letter "dh", Article 93 of the Constitution, as well as Article 26, point 2 of Law no. 23/2015, "For the foreign service of the Republic of Albania" at the proposal of the Prime Minister, decreed the dismissals and appointments of Ambassadors as follows:
1. Released by Decree no. 125 dated 12.7.2023 Mr. Roland Bimo from the position of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Albania to the Republic of Austria, resident.
2. Released by Decree no. 126 dated 12.7.2023 Mr. Visho Ajazi Lika from the post of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Albania to NATO, resident.
3. Released by Decree no. 127 dated 12.7.2023 Mr. Qirjako Qirko from the office of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Albania to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, resident, and from the office of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Albania to Ireland, non-resident.
4. Released by Decree no. 128 dated 12.7.2023 Mr. Ilir Gjoni from the position of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Albania to the Confederation of Switzerland, resident, and from the position of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Albania to the Principality of Liechtenstein, non-resident. 5. Released by Decree no. 129 dated 12.7.2023 Ms. Ravesa Lleshi from the position of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Albania in the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Albania, at the Office of the United Nations and Other International Organizations in Geneva, resident.
6. Appointed by Decree no. 135 date 12.7.2023 Mrs. Majlinda Frangaj Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Albania to the Holy See in the Vatican, resident.
7. Appointed by Decree no. 130 date 12.7.2023 Mr. Fatmir Velaj Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Albania in the Republic of Austria, resident.8. Appointed by Decree no. 131 date 12.7.2023 Mr. Ilir Gjoni Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Albania to NATO, resident.
9. Appointed by Decree no. 134 date 12.7.2023 Mrs. Vasilika Hysi Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Albania in the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Albania, at the Office of the United Nations and Other International Organizations in Geneva, resident.
10. Appointed by Decree no. 132 date 12.7.2023 Mr. Uran Ferizi Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Albania to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, resident, and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Albania to Ireland, non-resident.
11. Appointed by Decree no. 133 date 12.7.2023 Mr. Mustafa Nano Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Albania to the Confederation of Switzerland, resident and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Albania to the Principality of Liechtenstein, non-resident.
