The head of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, received the former ambassador of Albania in London, Mal Berisha, together with some prominent personalities of the academic life from Kosovo, in his apartment on "Mustafa Matohiti" street.
In a post shared on the Facebook social network, Mal Berisha says that "the great men of Kosovo never forget Prof. Dr. Sali Berisha, the man who put above everything the issue of the Albanian Nation and the liberation, the building of the state, the recognition of independence and the democratization of the Republic of Kosovo".
For the former prime minister, who has been under house arrest since December 30 of last year, this meeting also constitutes a violation of the arrest warrant that the courts in the country have left in force for him.
Sali Berisha himself has not made any post about this meeting, but it is worth noting that this is not the first time that the opposition leader has "broken" the arrest warrant that prohibits meetings with others, except family members who live with him.
The first violation of the security measure was when Berisha hosted RAI 3 journalists in his house, who made him part of the investigative documentaries they published about the Rama government.
Then a visit by the former CDU German MEP Elmar Brok followed on May 14, with the latter from the window of the Prime Minister's house giving a speech to the protesters in the "Alley of Hope".
After the former MEP, the well-known Albanian actor Çun Lajçi stopped by the house of the former prime minister for a visit, who, dressed in traditional clothes, clinked a glass with Berisha for a toast. The photo was accompanied by a few lines, where the actor wrote: "Don't give up Sali Tropoja".
At the beginning of July, Berisha hosted the former Turkish Prime Minister, Ahmet Davutoglu and his wife, in his apartment, with the images that were distributed by the latter's staff./ A2Cnn
