The head of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, has commented on the new cycle of reforms undertaken by the Socialist Party, which will have to focus on good governance, strengthening the rule of law and the fight against corruption. A draft resolution presented yesterday envisages the establishment of a special parliamentary commission, similar to that of the reform of the judiciary.
The President of the Freedom Party calls this a desperate attempt by Rama to escape the scandalous failures in these 11 years. Meta emphasized that this is another maneuver and lie.
"How was 11 years not enough for a man to make the reforms. He did not leave a promise or reform without a promise, but he only made Ramaforma. And he returned the reform in the administration to Ramaforma" , Meta said at the press conference today at noon.
Socialists propose the establishment of a Special Parliamentary Commission, to analyze the situation and to draw up a long-term National Action Plan, which also recommends possible legal and institutional changes. The commission, similar to the Justice Reform Commission almost 10 years ago, will have to have international experts.
Regarding this, Meta said that thanks to the 'Renaissance', Albania is becoming a laboratory country for special experiments. He emphasized that no one expects reforms from Rama, since according to him the only reform of the prime minister is depopulation.
"I don't understand what this Special Commission is? This is a place that, thanks to the renaissance, is becoming a laboratory for special experiments. They are checkers that do not surprise anyone. No one expects reforms from Rama, Rama's only reform is depopulation" , emphasized Meta.
