The Socialist Party seems determined not to dialogue with Berisha, despite the fact that the US and the EU demand that the parties put an end to the conflict in the Assembly. The MP of the SP, Ermonela Felaj, said that Berisha should submit to the dialogue with justice, since the majority does not change its position with "non grata".
Felaj says that there is no dialogue with Berisha and why the essence of the work of the Assembly is the conversation. According to her, the cooperation between the majority and the opposition is becoming difficult as there are still deputies who are not clear to whom they belong.
"I see the statement of the embassies connected with a statement made more than a month and a half ago. It was done by the American and British embassies. "It is confirmed that we have not changed our position on non grata individuals...". Clearly, the majority has taken this position. These are statements addressed to both the majority and the opposition. Dialogue is at the heart of the work of the Assembly. There is no dialogue with Berisha. He should submit to the dialogue with justice", she said on Report TV.
Felaj added that many MPs of the opposition are still not clear in which DP group they want to be, the one known by the Court headed by Lulzim Basha or Berisha's group. According to Felaj, this makes the cooperation of the majority with the opposition even more difficult.
"In the opposition, some colleagues are not clear who they belong to, the official PD or Berisha's group. We don't want to choose an opponent, this is the trap they want to put us in. From first to last they are our opponents. But the Basha Draft is not a new thing. Where is Mr. Basha, does anyone in the assembly and commission see him? We don't talk to people who are absent and who want to remain absent", Felaj added.
