Today, it can be clearly seen that the operation against Sali Berisha and Ilir Meta is a mechanism that goes beyond the limits of Edi Rama.
This hurricane has been supported by the Americans, who will clearly not allow Sali Berisha, Ilir Meta and Monika Kryemadhi to be part of the new Parliament.
If they will lead the party from the arrest, and will increase the political points to defeat Edi Rama, which is not visible on the horizon, it would be good for everyone. But even if they do, it is unlikely that Berisha and Meta will ever escape the clutches of justice. On the contrary, it is only the beginning, and they will now have a series of processes even tougher than what they are facing.
The strategy consists that from prison, in the case of Berisha from house arrest, their power on the ground will be smaller and smaller and will generate other forces and individuals to revitalize the Albanian opposition.
The formula is simple: be free and everyone will be with you. Berisha and Meta have finally closed the history of power. And this seems like a closed formula already.
Meanwhile, the parties of Sali Berisha and Ilir Meta are not even thought to come to power, and this is where it starts. When Berisha and Meta lose badly, but very badly, the transition will begin. From today, even from yesterday, the US and the EU will contact every opposition politician to help them. The anti-Berisë opposition has the biggest support, but they will show their strength in the territory. And if the opposition will support Berisha and Ilir Meta, the USA will not allow it to have the primacy, in any way, so Edi Rama wins here.
And here the dilemma arises as to why Ilir Meta has not been declared Non Grata in the USA? When did Ilir Meta have the fiercest and strongest attitudes against the Americans in years? At the end of his Presidency there was a rapprochement with the Americans.
In the last year of Meta's presidency, Ambassador Yuri Kim celebrated the independence day with Meta, and even when she took over the Freedom Party, she had meetings with international representatives.
But right here a deal is broken, because he is asked not to go against the new justice, and it is Meta who broke it.
As it is learned, these very days it is expected that Ilir Meta will have an important sanction from the USA, it is about the Department of the Treasury, as happened with Milorad Dodik. But apart from Ilir Meta, it is expected that there will be important names on the list from the majority of those investigated as well as those waiting to be investigated.
