The chairman of the "Opportunity" Party, Agron Shehaj, has revealed new details about the file that arrested former President Ilir Meta. In front of the premises of the Prime Minister's Office, Shehaj says that this file contains the names of other rulers who, according to him, have abused their power in Albania.
"This is the file on the basis of which Ilir Meta was arrested" , he emphasizes.
Shehaj added that the name of Prime Minister Edi Rama is also present in this document, implying that many of the ministers and oligarchs associated with him have shared power and misused state resources for personal gain.
He says that according to the file, legal decisions were made that favored the oligarchs instead of the Albanian citizens.
"In these chambers, decisions were made on how to make laws not in favor of the citizens, but in favor of the oligarchs", said Agron Shehaj, emphasizing that this was an important factor in the capture of the economy.
The MP demanded an end to impunity in Albania, insisting that this can only happen if Edi Rama faces justice.
"Albanian citizens want the end of impunity and this will only happen if Edi Rama appears before justice" , concluded Shehaj.
