Government abolishes tourist visas with 5 Asian countries, list of countries

The Albanian government is lifting visas for tourist purposes with 5 Asian, Middle Eastern and Far Eastern countries until December 31.

At today's government meeting, the Council of Ministers (VKM) was also approved on the proposal to facilitate the procedures and criteria for issuing visas to foreign citizens entering the territory of the Republic of Albania.

The decision emphasizes that visas are being lifted for tourist reasons, the season starting in May and until December 31 as the deadline, for countries such as: 

1. Saudi Arabia
2. Qatar
3. Oman
4. Thailand
5. Indonesia
