Democratic Party MP Saimir Korreshi spoke about the tensions and chaos caused in the Assembly today, during the session that lasted only an hour.
"There is no more state. I am part of the Mandates Council Commission and I can only say this, for me, genocide has been committed with public funds. It has never been done ," he said.
The MP also apologized for the offensive words he used in the session during clashes with the Guard.
He stressed that there could not be a normal session when the government has committed "genocide" with public money, referring to the cases being investigated by SPAK regarding the indicted Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku.
"I said some words that escaped my lips but there was no intention to offend anyone but I got out of the difficult situation a little. However, I do not want them to come out of my mouth. The state de facto cooperates with crime and you cannot have a normal session to talk about the New Year. This is the biggest scandal in 35 years of democracy. The state budget has been traded as if it were a New Year's rooster. For the people, only bones. This is a drama", he told "News 24".
The DP MP was also asked live about the Socialist Party's request to expel several Democratic MPs, including Korreshi, for chaos and violence.
According to him, it is the MPs who were raped. Koreshi even claimed that he found physical injuries from the violence.
"Luckily I was in the sunlight, the camera was focused on me. We were raped ," he concluded.
