Balluku demands the lifting of the security measure

The appeal of the GJKKO has been withdrawn to make a decision regarding the request of Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku, as well as her two subordinates, Gentian Gjyli and Erald Elezi, for the lifting of the security measures imposed on them by a decision of the GJKKO.

The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure and Energy was not present at the hearing, but was represented by her two lawyers. Meanwhile, the director of ARRSH, Gentian Gjyli, and that of KESH, Erald Elezi, who are under the security measure of "house arrest", appeared accompanied by their legal representatives.

Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku has been named as a defendant for the 190 million euro tender for the construction of the Llogara tunnel, an accusation that has been officially communicated to her, and she is also suspected for the 20 million euro tender for lot 4 of the Tirana Ring Road.

For both tenders, worth 210 million euros, according to SPAK, Balluku predetermined the winner through supervision and intervention throughout the entire process of developing the competition.
