The Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, has spoken about the warnings of the USA regarding Kosovo's decision on the Serbian dinar.
In an interview for ATV, Rama said that Kosovo is within its right to implement the Constitution for the dinar as well, but that according to him there should definitely be coordination with the allies.
I don't want to give a lecture to anyone, but on the one hand, Kosovo is in its right and must be understood by those who know it as a state when it tries to implement its Constitution, but on the other hand, Kosovo must establish communication and interaction with our strategic allies for every step with which it can create clashes with these allies who are irreplaceable ", he said.
The Albanian Prime Minister says that Kosovo has taken a significant step with the acceptance of the Association, which is in accordance with the law.
" The role of politics should be to contribute with necessary legal arguments, and there should be no accusations if the Association is treason. Kosovo should not appear to be a frivolous party in this case ," he said.
Rama says that he does not want to take sides in Kosovo's politics.
" I would not want my words to be taken as words that suit the government of Kosovo or the opposition, as this is not my role. But I want to see Kosovo as a serious party on the international level, since some of the EU countries do not recognize Kosovo, but another part wants it to be part of the EU first ", Rama further stated.
