"Rama should come to the session", Capri ultimatum to Lamallari: You
Opportunity Party MP, Erald Kapri

The MP of the Opportunity Party, Erald Kapri, requested in the plenary session the presence of Prime Minister Edi Rama in the Assembly to answer the questions of the MPs, accusing the majority of disrespecting the Rules of Procedure of the Assembly.

From the Assembly podium, Kapri stated that a request for questions and answers with the Prime Minister has been filed, emphasizing that according to the Rules of Procedure, Wednesday's session should be dedicated to this process.

"Your audacity to violate the regulation is beyond imagination. You deny the articles of the Regulation, specifically article 95, which states that the question-and-answer session takes place on Wednesdays. We have asked questions for Rama and he must come here to answer. This cannot be delegated," said Kapri.

The opposition MP also demanded accountability from the Prime Minister regarding the protest held the day before in front of the Prime Minister's Office, as well as for his statements on what he described as "hybrid warfare."

"We have also made a request to the minister, regarding the violence that occurred yesterday. Rama said that we are in a hybrid war. Let him come and give an account of who we are being attacked by, when he also leads the security structures," he declared.

Kapri accused the government of using force against protesters and called for the resignation of Prime Minister Rama and Minister Lamallari.

"In the '90s, Rama filled Tirana with the slogan 'Enver-Hitler' and Ramiz Alia did nothing. Yesterday, citizens were attacked with pepper spray. Stop the double standards and resign if you have the courage," said the MP from the Opportunity Party.
