Shkruar nga PamfletiDemocratic leader Sali Berisha, during a press conference, also spoke about the recount and re-evaluation of votes, where at the request of two KAS members, the ballot boxes of Fier and Tirana will be opened.
Berisha said that the recount is being done solely for the sake of transparency and for no other motive.
"Absolutely apart from transparency, nothing else. I, once again, clarified yesterday, this process was initiated by specific candidates, whom the law has deprived of the right to be considered in their request and the DP, for the sake of transparency and not for any other reason, has decided to support their requests.
Because the DP supports every request of every individual within it or in the specific case in the elections, who seeks to review the votes.
I hold to a principle, I don't do what that other guy does, who never allows people to vote in a party and doesn't even allow them to count the votes.
I don't do that. I say transparency and I ask for understanding from every candidate not to forget that we are a party of transparency.
"I don't care at all about what they will present. No!", said Berisha.
