The Democratic Party of Lulzim Basha has distanced itself from the scenes of chaos which the group of deputies supporting Sali Berisha and Gazment Bardhi have been following in the Assembly for two months.
For the DP vice-president, Oriola Pampuri, through these scenes, the personal interests of Reestablishment and the majority are being protected. In an interview for "Report TV", Pampuri accused the Bardhi-Berisha group of having sided with the majority.
" There is a quixotic war going on. Where one side approves everything it cares about. It was a scandal to approve the budget item by item in 8 minutes, a budget that continues to put money in the pockets of the concessionaires who are now being investigated by SPAK and was not discussed at all. Both sides leave the parliament hall laughing. Personally, I and the DP group have not been and cannot be in institutions where all tasks are performed to go to the end to protect the personal interests of the parties. The chairs are thrown... Where should we be active, one to hold the flames and the other to set the fire?! This is not a revolution ," Pampuri said.
