Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha has reacted to the serious incident in Hamallaj, where a family was raped by the driver of Lindita Nikolla and his brothers.
According to Berisha, he shot 5 times with his service weapon in the direction of the Kaçi family.

A conflict occurred in Hamallaj, between the Nikolla family and the Kaçi family. Martin Nikolla, the strongman of the government, an employee of the Guard, with the duty of driver of the Speaker of the Parliament Lindita Nikolla, fired 5 times with a gun in the direction of the Kaçi family. Together with his brothers, they ambushed and hit the Kaçi family with baseball bats and other strong tools.

'My father was coming from the street and they told him why he was looking from my house and they came in front of him. To hunt him down.
They all came out like brothers to take care of dad. Later we came out. They started firing 4-5 times with firearms, but thank god they didn't hit us.
Martin Nikolli came to kill us because he is Lindita Nikolla's driver. They are strong.
The case has been in the prosecutor's office for this street, as it is adjacent to the house. They want to be strong and not look left or right. They are somebody now. They have power.
Only we have conflicts with them in the neighborhood. Every time they pass in front of my yard, they insult my father, my mother, my sister-in-law and anyone. I do not accept this.
We also took it to the elders of the neighborhood, as usual, and again nothing was done. He has shot us 5-6 times because he works with Lindita and acts as if he is strong", said Paulin Kaçi.
